Kaigle was born and raised in Swanton, VT and graduated from high school in 2008. Prior to graduating, he joined the army in 2007 to begin training over the summer of his senior year. Kaigle served in the Army National Guard for six years as a Medevac Crew Chief on Blackhawk helicopters. He served in Iraq from 2010-2011.
