Mr. Rooter® Expands Its Franchise Locations in the First Quarter of 2012

WACO, Texas (June 1, 2012) – Mr. Rooter Plumbing welcomed eight new franchisees during the first quarter of 2012.

The plumbing company awarded new franchises to:

• Richard Ciresi in Louisville, Ky.
• Rich Rome in Forty Fort, Pa.
• Ted Vitanza in Brooklyn, N.Y.
• Rodney Watson in Pleasant Grove, Ala.

The following franchisees bought existing locations:

• Brian Lapierre, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Rhode Island
• Bryson Schmidt, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Omaha
• Michael Wickham, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Twin Cities
• Alfonso Jimenez, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Northern Colorado.

Many of the new franchise owners and their team members attended a one-week basic training course on best practices, management and leadership techniques, customer service and marketing at the company’s corporate office in Waco, Texas.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing has an established and professional system. For example, technicians wear covers over their shoes inside the customer’s home or business to protect their property. They also give a customer the price before work is done, using a menu pricing guide to ensure there are no surprises about the cost of service.

Technicians provide service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no extra charges on nights, weekends and holidays.
