Wright-Hood to Receive Girl Scouts Women of Distinction Award
WACO, Texas – (March 20, 2008) – Debbie Wright-Hood, chief administrative officer of The Dwyer Group, has been named a recipient of this year’s Women of Distinction Awards by the Girl Scouts of Central Texas for her outstanding leadership and service to the Waco community. The Dwyer Group is the parent company over several franchise brands that include Aire Serv, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Rainbow International.
The annual Women of Distinction Award is given by the Girl Scouts of America, Bluebonnet Council, to recognize Waco-area women who demonstrate excellence in various fields such as business, education, government, communications, health care, sports, volunteer services, multicultural activities and/or Girl Scouting.

Wright-Hood will be honored at the Waco-area Women of Distinction Dinner on Tuesday, April 8, at the Cashion Building on Baylor University's campus.
