April Showers Bring New Mr. Rooter Franchisees
WACO, Texas (May 29, 2009) – April showers bring May flowers, as well as two new franchises for Mr. Rooter Corporation.
These new owners attended a weeklong basic training course at the company’s corporate office in May:
- Larry & Nancy DiLeva – Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in California
- Marvin Rickman & Cindy Cochran - Carroll and Haralson Counties in Georgia
The following individuals were also at the May training course:
- Alex Figueroa – co-owner of the Mr. Rooter franchise in Omaha, Neb.
- Leigh Uffelman – office manager at the Mr. Rooter franchise in Sarasota, Fla.
- Harry & Sue Waller – marketing team at the Mr. Rooter of Austin franchise in Texas
Basic training included classes on best practices, management and leadership techniques, customer service and marketing.
“We look forward to helping these franchisees grow their businesses,” said Mary Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter Corporation. “We’re also excited to expand our Mr. Rooter Plumbing network despite these challenging economic times.”
Mr. Rooter Plumbing has an established and professional system. For example, technicians wear covers over their shoes inside the customer’s home or business to protect and respect their property. They also give a customer the price before work is done, using a menu pricing guide to ensure there are no surprises about the cost of service.
