Rob White invested in a Rainbow International franchise after working in national sales for several large companies. Through extensive research, he came to a simple conclusion. Rainbow International offered the best customer care and the most reliable service — and he wanted to get involved.
Why did you want to get into the restoration industry?
I was looking to start my own business and decided that a franchise was the way to go. The next step was choosing a field. It didn’t take long to realize the restoration industry was growing fast. The technology and science behind it was something that interested me. I looked at the other restoration companies, but decided on Rainbow International because they have the most effective franchise support systems available.
What were some of the challenges when you started your business?
I had very little technical experience with restoration. When I made the decision to purchase my franchise, I had no tools, no experience and no clue which way to go. But Rainbow International put me through a comprehensive training program, explained the use of all the different pieces of equipment and put me in touch with other franchise owners who helped me get started right. Rainbow International exceeded my expectations.
How is life since you purchased your franchise?
My role has changed. Instead of doing it all myself, the business has grown to where I have hired more technicians and office staff. Rainbow International prepared me for this change during training. They showed me the responsibilities for every position within a franchise, so there were no surprises. The support from the home office has been great. Whenever something has been outside of my skill level, someone from the home office has been there for me. The Rainbow International community is unlike any other.
