Local Veteran Continues Values in New Appliance Repair Business

Waco, Texas (Oct. 26, 2010)– In any endeavor the difference between getting the job done and getting it done right is pride, dedication and discipline. United States Air Force veteran, Wayne Terry is ready to apply a system of code of values of to his new appliance repair business, Mr. Appliance® of Hampton and show his community quality service done right.

“In the Air Force, a core values we follow is excellence in all we do,” Terry said. “Now I’m ready to follow Mr. Appliance’s code of values where respect, integrity and customer satisfaction are the excellence in my appliance repair business.”

Terry spent 28 years in the Air Force repairing and supervising the maintenance of the nation’s most advanced electronics, weapons systems and equipment. He now looks forward to redirecting this expertise towards expert appliance repairs.

“Mr. Appliance of Hampton will change what people expect every time they need a service in their home,” Terry said. “I want to show my community that we are the expert appliance repair business.”

Upon purchasing the business, Terry attended a three-week course at Fred’s Appliance Academy, where he received his National Appliance Service Technician Certification (NASTEC), Also, Terry is certified by the Professional Services Association (PSA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the safe handling and disposal of refrigerants.

Terry also attended a five-day training course on the latest technology and customer service techniques. He plans to create jobs and generate business for his community, as well as provide great service to his customers. 

“We follow a professional system at Mr. Appliance. Our service professionals wear shoe covers inside homes and use a menu pricing guide so there are no surprises,” said Doug Rogers, president of Mr. Appliance Corp. “We’re delighted that Wayne has joined us, and we believe his business will be successful because we all operate under the same core values.”
