Veteran, Pilot Opens New Appliance Repair Business

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2010)– Buckle your seatbelts Sacramento, a new full-service appliance repair business is in town. Theron Johnson, pilot for a major airline, announces the startup of his Mr. Appliance® Capitol City.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony, Thursday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. in the Placer Room in Suite 300 at the Chamber to celebrate the new appliance repair business.

“Mr. Appliance of Capitol City will change what people expect every time they need a service in their home,” Johnson said. “I want to show my community that we are professionals at Mr. Appliance and every job is first class.” 

Johnson knows what it takes to create a great business from his leadership experiences, including owning and operating an independent appliance repair company and graduating from the United States Air Force Academy and serving in the U.S. Air Force until 1992.

Our service professionals wear shoe covers inside homes and use a menu pricing guide so there are no surprises,” said Doug Rogers, president of Mr. Appliance Corp. “We’re delighted that Theron has joined us, and we believe his business will be successful because we all operate under the same core values.”

Upon purchasing the business, Johnson attended an intensive training course on the latest technology and customer service techniques.
