Mr. Rooter® Plumbing on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List

WACO, Tx (Nov. 4, 2010)-Mr. Rooter Corporation ranks No. 139 in Entrepreneur magazine’s 31^st Annual Franchise 500 list, moving up eight spots from last year’s ranking.

The Franchise 500 list is based on financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. In 2009, Mr. Rooter Plumbing added 37 new franchise locations in North America.

This growth propelled Mr. Rooter Plumbing into the magazine’s Fastest-Growing Franchises list, where the plumbing company ranks No. 91. Mary Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter Corporation, attributes the company’s growth to its system of business and Code of Values™.

The magazine also ranked Mr. Rooter Plumbing No. 38 on its Top Home Based Franchises list. Known as the world’s first, best and most comprehensive list of franchises, the Franchise 500 list is published in the magazine’s January issue.
