Helping Veterans Build Success as Civilians
When the Gulf War ended, our founder Don Dwyer had a realization. He understood that men and women who served in the armed forces were trained to follow systems with discipline and intelligence, combining team-mentality with personal responsibility. He realized that veterans’ training was immediately applicable to developing a franchise business.
Since then, Dwyer Group has been dedicated to assisting veterans through our Program for Assisting Veteran Entrepreneurship, or P.A.V.E. Our program provides financial and educational resources to veterans who want to invest in a franchise business. Franchising utilizes the most admirable traits of military life: individual excellence applied to established systems.
P.A.V.E. is a complementary program to our VetFran program, which offers a discount to veterans looking to buy their own franchise. Through the VetFran program, we have helped our owners save over a million dollars while establishing their businesses.
Dwyer Group also has a whole department set aside solely for the benefit of our veteran owners—the Department of Veteran Entrepreneurship.
Through these programs, we have helped veterans benefit from the power of franchise ownership, offering them independence, financial security, and personal fulfillment. Our company believes that buying a franchise helps veterans utilize their own personal resources in a powerful way.
Franchising calls upon the reserves of discipline and character that trained soldiers have already spent years developing. That’s why we want to invest the tools and education to help them succeed.
