Mr. Rooter on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List

WACO, Texas (Dec. 16, 2009) – Mr. Rooter Corporation ranks No. 139 in Entrepreneur magazine’s 31st Annual Franchise 500 list, moving up eight spots from last year’s ranking.

The Franchise 500 list is based on financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system. In 2009, Mr. Rooter Plumbing added 37 new franchise locations in North America, increasing the number of worldwide units to also 400.

Mary Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter Corporation, attributes this growth to the company’s system of business and its Code of Values™.

Known as the world’s first, best and most comprehensive list of franchises, the Franchise 500 list is published in the magazine’s January issue.
