Dina Dwyer-Owens Awarded by IFA for Leadership

WACO, Texas (Feb.  13, 2011)-Dina Dwyer Owens, CEO of The Dwyer Group, Inc. , was honored with the International Franchise Association’s Women’s Franchise Committee Crystal Compass award.

During her time as CEO of The Dwyer Group, Dwyer-Owens has made a significant impact on the company. This year, it is expected that The Dwyer Groups franchises, in total, will take in around $800 million in revenues. She attributes her success to the strong code of values the company has in place and the importance of ethics in business, as described in her book Live “R.I.C.H.”

The Crystal Compass is awarded to individuals who have shown leadership in their work. Recipients have been chosen based on the impact they have made on their organizations, local communities and the franchise industry.

The Dwyer Group has seven franchises under its operation, including Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning, Glass Doctor, The Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Rainbow International.
